On December 4th, Xu Jingjing, Vice President of the University of Coventry in the UK, and her delegation visited SUES. Wang Qin, Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Department, warmly welcomed Vice President Xu Jingjing and her delegation. She pointed out that SUES vigorously implements three development strategies of talent strengthening, characteristic development, and internationalization, and introduced SUES's academic characteristics, international education, and achievements in recent years. She hopes that the two universities can carry out practical and long-term cooperation, deepen cooperation in teacher-student exchanges, scientific research cooperation, talent cultivation, and other aspects through this meeting, create more international education and exchange opportunities for teachers and students of the two schools, and promote further development of cooperation between the two universities.

At the meeting, Professor Wang Lei, Vice Dean of the School of Urban Rail Transit, introduced the basic situation of the School and the cooperation and exchange between the two schools in the early stage. Both sides discussed project cooperation such as student credit mutual recognition, joint undergraduate and master's programs, and various short-term exchanges, and conducted in-depth discussions on further strengthening cooperation, injecting new vitality and momentum into the friendly cooperative relationship between the two universities.
During this period, Vice President Xu Jingjing and his delegation also visited relevant laboratories of School of Urban Railway Transportation, gaining a deep understanding of the college's training mode, subject characteristics, and student learning experience.
